FLATBED

OFFICINE BPM provides a wide and personalized set of FLATBEDS equipped to satisfy the increasing and varied demand of the market.

- they are produced to fulfill the customer load requirements and therefore they can have different dimensions and bodyworks, according to the truck size and weight regulations

- They are suitable for the transportation of work machines, such as tractors, diggers, bulldozers, etc.

- They are equipped with a hydraulic ramps system in the rear side, controlled by a proportional hydraulic valve, in order to make the dumping easier.

BPM FLATBEDS main features

- Load-bearing structure made up of a “greed” which covers: two lengthwise transoms placed on the chassis and a sequence of steel shelves equally distributed on the length of the body. The transoms and crossbeams sections are fittingly studied in steel.The ring beam in press-formed steel is cut as seat of the low bed

- BPM manufactures the single parts of the structure using press-formed metal sheets and the following materials:

        Transoms in steel Fe510B DEC (EN 10025)

        Ring beam and lateral crossbeams obtained through press-formed zinc-coated metal sheet

        Flatbed in marine plywood WISA TRANS (finnish birch) in different thicknesses (18/24/35       

        mm, depending on the truck)

- Cab protection front sideboard in aluminium with bottom side impact-proof in zinc-coated steel

- Lateral sideboards and rear sideboard in aluminium TP2 (Al6060 ARS10) with downwards opening with foldaway pillars with lever, hinge-pin in zinc-coated steel

- Rope stretching winches in different types

- Toolboxes ( zinc-coated/inox steel/pvc)

- Mudguards in plastic material pvc, high-resistance and deformability

- Paint with ground coat SELEMIX bicomponent epoxide and polyurethane varnish high-resistance PPG

- Different stainless steel accessories: water tank, winches, mudguards and sideboards profiles

HYDRAULIC CRANE INSTALLATION

BPM can install different types of hydraulic cranes, coupled with FLATBEDS fittings, for any kind of truck

- hydraulic crane front mounted with/without additional cross stabilizer

- hydraulic crane rear mounted with/without additional cross stabilizer

The coupling chassis-subframe is set up by using bolted plates, properly designed and plasma cut.

The crane fastening to the subframe is set up with blocks for tie rods, which dimensions are calculated by stress.
